Portal Frame Series : tilt-up panel connection

Connections between Panels are required for structural purposes. It connects two panels and make it a rigid structure. Here are some pics from new Spotlight and Anaconda complex in Belmont.



Metal Plate welded in between the two panels.





Exactly the same connection with the previous pic, but notice that the metal plate is un-bolted. The panels should be bolted to give more rigidity.




Different metal connector is used for concrete slab. They should be bolts as specified in the drawing below.
